Hi. Welcome to Graceful Plans. A place where faith and planning collide, to help mothers just like you, learn how to live the life that the Lord's grace has provided. We started simple. With the knowledge when coming to Christ, that God is a God of order.
In life, it's really hard to be productive and to grow, when we are not organized. The problem is that in this loud world, it's a challenge to structure ourselves when we barely know what we are doing. We feel frazzled and are often scrambling through life to figure out how to make sense of anything and everything, and when we try and fail, feels like a huge defeat.
This is why learning how to plan is so important...so what's the problem? Not all of us know how to do that. The worse part? There are so many different planners and tools out there, that it's hard to know which one to choose and which one will work for you.
Planning is more than just putting notes on a paper and penciling things in, and there are so many styles that we easily get lost when we first come to planners. We think that all we have to do is to just write down where we have to go, or what we have to do, and this is it. But there is more than just that. There's SO much more.
There's learning what works for you.
In the planner community the phrase "planner peace" is a big deal. A phrase that means finally finding the perfect planner for you. Finding the one that checks all of the boxes, and meets all of the criteria. But what is planner peace isn't about the planner, and it's accessories, but about how you use it?
About learning what style works best for you, and giving yourself the grace, given to us, to find what works for you.
When a person says that they have planner peace, what we hear, is that they found the perfect planner for them, when the reality is that they found the system that works for them.
They've learned after trial and error what they need to enhance their lives, and they hone in on that.
So in essence, it's more about learning who YOU are and what your needs are, and then doing THAT...in essence, everything starts structure and knowing who you are.
If you can figure out those things, you are one step closer to finding planner peace.
In our next blog, we will discuss a few areas to consider, to help you find the planner or style that works for you.
